one of my neighbours saw me this morning as i was exiting the building and she was just coming in from walking her dog. she complimented me on my weight loss, apparently she sees me every morning when i go for my walk, and asked me what i did the last two mornings that it rained.
it was still a little bit drizzling this morning, but my body ached to go for the hour-long walk, having missed the last two mornings due to heavy rain, so i donned on a light raincoat and walked my usual route. yesterday, when i worked at the office, i had ambitioned to walk the underground path and back (it would total the same 3.5 km i walk every morning). the problem was that the underground, which is a series of passageways through the financial district, is owned by the various buildings and they require masks or face coverings while in their properties. it is kind of difficult to walk or run with a mask so that plan was aborted and instead i took the subway to go to my favourite sushi place and had sushi lunch.
i figure i need to devise a plan as to what to do in terms of walking when the snow comes. the stretches and floor exercises i do are quite boring. i can walk in the cold no problem, but if the pavements are thick with snow or icy or both, there's no way in hell i would be going for a walk.
I think this is a stunning photo for starters and am wondering why you did not enter it in the songtitle-78 competition!
When the weather becomes too prohibitive for walking outside you can always put on some good music and dance for however long it used to take you to walk! You can do that anytime regardless of the weather, hot or cold!
