you see, i have no idea what to post for today. i considered an older photo from two weeks ago but that would be from last year and i wanted some new or shot-on-the-day post, at least for the first few days in january. that 52 assignments is quite handy as this week's assignment is details in my surroundings. and so you get to view this. 😜
Love the different blues. I think that I might use some (or all) of the assignments. Need inspiration at the moment and happy to have a nudge every so often.

I love the simplicity of the shot in the colors. You are entirely too hard on yourself. You always worry about not coming through or self imploding and it hasn’t happened yet. You always manage to come up with something exciting and interesting
self-destruct, eh. At least you'll have bells ringing! I'm going to try a year-long challenge, but if it doesn't work out, well. I'm sure I'm the only one who will care.
@francoise - yes, that's a way of looking at a failed effort. come to think of it, nobody questioned me about my failed challenge. by god, you're right!
