there was a heavy mist when we reached the apple farm/orchard last saturday. mists lend a sense of mystery, especially in a place like this. i admit i had been staring at the neighbouring field that was covered in heavy mist awaiting and thinking something, like an alien or time traveller would emerge and spook the heck out of everyone. then we'd all be throwing apples at them!
