rain and wet snow and strong winds were in the cards today starting early this morning. the fog was rather inviting in the afternoon when there was a respite in the weather but not enough to entice me to go out and search for photo opportunities.
since i started photographing, i have found and shot some odd things so i decided to look in the archives and found this one. i took quite a few of this mannequin but i quite like this shot because of the shadow that fell on its leg and the contrast of the live woman at the back. i remember when i took this, the mannequin was strangely propped on the sidewalk, people passed by it, touched it, walked around it. there was nothing around the area that would suggest the relevant use of the mannequin. what's more it was left there with its upper limbs strewn on the ground.
for the rest of the week i will try and find from the archives those weird and out-of-place items that i had photographed in the past.
