my sister and i took in the air show today which took place at the city's west end. we were there from 12:30 to 3:30. by 3 o'clock, i was hot, tired and hungry and sweating like a dockworker. i probably even smelled like one by that time. i wouldn't be surprised if we hit 31 today. it's now 11:20 and the temp is still 25 celcius.
i then decided that we should go back downtown and just when we were about to cross the street to the bus stop, this huge USAF jet passed overhead so low which made me decide to go back to our vantage point. as the show had to close at 3:30, i figured the canadian snow birds would by then make an appearance. indeed, they came and with over 200 photos from two cameras, there's a chance i might be feeding off them again for the week.

i dropped my nikon camera on the concrete pavement and for a while it stopped working. i was thinking now i have a legit reason to buy a new one. when i tested it after half and hour, it worked fine.
