had i been in a right frame of mind yesterday, this would have been my flash of red post. but (one) i forgot about it, and (two) i did not have the flower yesterday. today at the restaurant where we had lunch, they were giving the lady customers a red rose.
it's been a rather busy weekend. i hardly had time for my painting. i hosted the after-service coffee at church this morning; i added hot chocolate to the usual tea and coffee and my friend who partnered with me in hosting got some heart-shaped cookies. everyone loved the extra treats. then i treated my friend to a sushi lunch, ran errands then my friend treated me to a chinese dinner. and the festivities aren't over yet, as tomorrow, i will be playing photographer again at our church dinner in celebration of family day. hopefully after tomorrow i can resume my normal painting schedule.
