this is the façade of toronto's union station at seven o'clock tonight. the tall building fronting the station is the royal bank plaza where i go to work from monday to friday. the lower building next to it is the 'royal york hotel' where the queen of england (and other royalties) stays whenever she comes to toronto.
it's been a busy day, weather-wise: drizzle, cold, wind, sunshine, clouds, whatever. at nine-ish, as we drove along the highway to bring back our young grandson to his parents, i saw the moon amongst the lights of the city and the highway. in a matter of a few minutes, it was gone!
@danig - ah, i'm so glad you like it. while i was shooting this i thought about you and why we don't have a theme for this month. how's png so far?
@karenann - that's very kind of you, karenann. thank you.
@bkbinthecity - i'm so glad i could impress you into wanting to come and visit. i'll continue to take more enticing pics so you and melody would come and visit. thank you.
@steeler - thank you so much, howard. much appreciated.
I sometimes look up at the buildings when the clouds are going by...(just like this photo) and get the sense that the building is tipping over. I love the lights here and how the VIA sign is what your eyes get drawn to.
