my netbook sucks. it just ate all the wonderful caption i just typed. dangit!
in any case, it's a gorgeous day in buffalo, at least looking through the window - glorious sunrise, welcoming sunlight, wonderful blue skies and just a wisp of clouds or two.
i figured i should post now as when i get to san francisco this evening i will be busy visiting my aunts (at least i hope i could) and will be very very late coming back.
so here's the view from my hotel room. i just had a missed opportunity when a jet plane passed by as it prepared to land at the airport which is just next door. and so i waited for a good 20 minutes and none has appeared so far. but i'm done kicking myself in the butt so i thought i will just post the sunrise to match yesterday's sunset post.
i apologize if i haven't made it to your respective albums to comment, but i am in transit and will try to catch up as much as i can. wonder if there's wi-fi on the plane?
fantastic capture, so sorry to hear your netbook is eating your words but so happy to know you made the first leg of your journey safe and sound. i find it so fascinating that buffalo is the stopping point - seems to be a turnstile here in the east. my son,justin, would stay there coming home from ohio when he went to college. just could not drive anymore. happy trails and wonderful visits with your aunts.
@catsmeowb - thank you, camille. it's like hongkong , the turnstile in asia. :-) i love your post today. it's DA BOMB!
@daveanajao - thank you, dave. don't you get lovely sunrise there, too? but of course i know you get the magnificent sunsets especially in manila bay. sunday, i'll capture one for you.

@steeler - thank you, howard. it was a different sky in chicago (raining and windy) and more akin to san francisco's weather,
@jannkc - indeed! thank you, jann.
@sanera - i was up quite early (3 o'clock) and couldn't go back to sleep. thank you, sam.
@sunnygreenwood - thank you, anne. if only chicago was more or less the same!
@cscecil - thank you, CS.
@olivetreeann - i probably did! thank you, ann,
@bkbinthecity - thank you, brian.
