centuries-old trees with their roots hanging low to the ground, coconut palms so tall they reach the sky, wild ferns and other exotic plants - and that is just one small section of the oldest 'mall' in the expensive financial district of the philippines known as makati. yes, folks, this display of flora and fauna is from such district, as you can see there's a joke in the offing.
