bougainvilla flowers and more by summerfield

bougainvilla flowers and more

a few years ago, i made a donation to the school that teaches the Bible to indigent children. today, i went to visit the school which is run by a former classmate, about 45 minutes drive down south of manila. it was a very positive visit and i was very glad i came.

on the drive to the school, i caught a picture of a house overtaken by a giant bougainvilla bush and yellow bells teeming with flowers and clothes being dried in the sun. i thought it was both hilarious and cute. on another positive note, it was a beautiful day for a drive.

getting busier by the day now as the trip nears its end. there are still a few more people to see and i don't know how to fit them in my schedule therefore i am playing each day by ear. on friday morning, early, i get to jog with 'first love' and family so tomorrow i am off to acquire a pair of running shoes. about time i do some serious exercises as i've been eating too much filipino food.
wow, that's a lot of blooms! love the candid shot! i bet the time is flying by for you. you didn't take your nb's with you? ;-)

Great capture and great eye!! Nice catch of the whole scene . . I really wanted to study the whole thing. Don't worry about the running shoes . . take walks (barefoot) along those beautiful beaches. :) Oh . . and enjoy that filipino food!

Wow- that's pretty funny but also quite clever. How many people would just chop down the plant? This way you get practicality and beauty all rolled up in one!
