so, i found out i have to be in a two-hour meeting at lunch today so there went my attempt at this challenge. i will still do the lake for this week but for today it will have to be a filler from yesterday's surprise photo op.
this was how calm it was before that woman came with her food scraps for the birds. i was surprised that there was a dog in this shot because i don't remember seeing any dogs at all. the ferry in yesterday's post would have come from the left of this photo. the area of the shot is the very centre. so that was the calm before the bird attack.
hopefully, tomorrow, i shall be able to walk down to the boardwalk and photograph this part of the lake.
i'm kind of lost as to whose album i haven't gone to browse and comment on. if i had missed yours, please let me know.
thanks.
Well, this photo has everything! Love the water movement and colors. And the shadows and the textures of the wood. Then finally there's the dog (who apparently came out of nowhere!). So I'd say that you had a great photo op day here, girl! :)
@cscecil - health and safety committee, so needed to do it, even though i was falling asleep for the most part. :-) birds yesterday, dog today. i'd be lucky if i see a monkey tomorrow. thank you, CS.
@alia_801 - thank you, alia. the lake was freakishly dark blue, the wind fierce, the sun bright and the dog just barged in there, which was nice.
@roth - that's at the foot of bay street, my friend. i think the street at the end is harbour street, i will check it out today. but it's the start of the boardwalk from where you take the ferry to the islands, just a few yards. plus, i can go walking anywhere during lunch, even inside the path! yes, i'm lucky to get away from work for a full hour. thank you, sue.
you probably didn't see the dog because we tend to block the big, bad and ugly. and for you? woof. this captures so much although you had not intentionally done so. what a beautiful area.
@olivetreeann - the water was so blue was the first think i noticed when i got there, ann. freakishly blue. thank you, ann.

@danig - thank you, DG. you're lovelier, you know.
