by the lake, take 3 - what a difference a day makes...
cloudy, rainy, miserable day in toronto. and here's the lake today. no blue waters this time and the tankers by the islands were gone. there were just ducks today, black and white ducks that looked like dart vader's soldiers in star wars and they all looked mean.
i tried to process this so the water would look decent but i suppose i don't know how to use this darn picnik so in the end i decided to leave it alone. no sneaky doggies today. just the lake and the ducks. ducks with a 'd'!! to see those ducks close up, click here: http://one-photograph-a-day.blogspot.com/2011/12/day-675-return-of-jedi.html
it just occured to me that i already did this same subject challenge in june when i covered the CN tower.
Toned down weather . . but still a great photo. You've picked up the feeling of the day. I still like that walkway and the lines and textures. I can't always get picnik to cooperate either . . but then that may be just me. I think that you're missing your super vacation paradise, summerfield.
@karenann - not so much today, so i think i'm going to be okay. busy with Christmas preps, you know how it is during this time of the year. gone over it already. thank you, karenann. waiting for the picture of the red RL jacket with the body inside it. yeah!
Thats what it feels like here today too. ~ You capture the feeling of the day just right. I am not minding the warmer weather, but not enjoying the rainy weather. ~
oh I love this one. My fave so far of the lake. It's peaceful, moody and quiet (well from here anyway). And i love the twigs on the tree, so delicate. It's fabulous, love it, fave it. ;-)
@catsmeowb - interesting, that's true. and also boring? :-) thank you, camille.
@sanera - oooh, it was crappy here in toronto especially this morning. well we can have the dreadful weather now as long as it's nice on Christmas, nice as in no rain. thank you, sam.
