i am a sucker for punishment, really. just to get a shot of the lake i had to brave the crappy weather. the rain had for a while stopped during my sojourn at the boardwalk so that made things a bit tolerable.
but when i got there...HORRORS!!!! i forgot my camera. i normally use my canon for my project. not a problem though as the little nikon is buried underneath my purse, if i could find the darn thing. when i found it, the next worry was maybe the battery's been exhausted because i haven't charged it since i left manila. aha! but luck's on my side yet again.
i had a hard time getting my exact mark from yesterday's shoot. and i thought i kind of made a boring choice for this same subject challenge when...ta-dah!... two women walked into my frame. that made it quite interesting. especially when the lady in white headband took out a videocam and the other started shooting with a smal p&s. it's probably for a project, or they're probably fellow 365ers, who knows? or they could be one of those environment activists; or they could be just plain tourists. in any case, they just made photo of the day with my same-subject-challenge.
So I totally didn't clue in that this was a challenge. How long are you doing this challenge for? I hope you get some different weather and different people/things to make it more interesting. I myself like the view of the lake each day! :)
Lucky girl! Caught it at the right moment. I went out and about looking for photos today and almost froze my "bottom" off! So cold, so windy, and so gray! Now I have some pics and am too doggone tired to upload and process. Have a nice night, summerfield. You caught the "candid of the day!"
@olivetreeann - whatever you do, don't choose a body scenery, unless there's a hurricane or a thermo nuclear explosion that's scheduled to happen, then the shot would be interesting :-) thank you, ann.
@slang - aha! i don't think i've made it yet to your album, sean. i should make a note. i thought i got everyone covered. but not to worry, i shall be there thermonuclear explosion or not. thank you, sean.
@pamfromcalgary - i was quite happy they did. thank you, pam.
@sanera - i'm doing the lake for a week. so after sunday, i will decide if i want to do a second week, but i have to find a subject (preferably not the lake) maybe a tree? thank you, sam.
@roth - you do, eh? i'm wishing a hippo or a crocodile would show up on the boardwalk while i'm taking a shot at the lake. that would be exciting (if i don't faint or run off in panic!). thank you, sue. stay tuned.
@karenann - miserable weather, too, in michigan, eh? i think our temps went up to 7 today. it wasn't so bad when i went home, just a tad windy. goodnight, karenann. see you tomorrow. and thank you.
@summerfield nooooo, not to challenge YOU! i wouldn't dream of it- LOL! your explanation gave me an idea about how to do this challenge of one subject for a week. as you say, one thing for a week can be difficult so it has to be chosen carefully - i believe i just might have a good subject. i will have to wait and see how it goes since i do not have it yet.

@sunnygreenwood - thank you, anne. maybe i'll jump on the water. but wait, who will take the photo? lol! plus it would be very very cold.
@catsmeowb - oh, that's what you meant. i thought you meant you thought of a challenge that i could do.
@steeler - thank you, howard. enjoy your weekend.
