didn't i say i was going to show you the sunrise? didn't i?
took the early morning subway train downtown and braved the cold four blocks walk to stand there and take a picture of the sunrise from the boardwalk. i missed the first run of the ferry though, and wasn't paying attention to the first plane that was going to land at the airport at the west end of the islands.
and while i was at it, i went jogging on the boardwalk. yes, if you saw some nutty character early this morning plying the boardwalk downtown, that was i. and if you saw me, the question then is "what were you doing in there so early in the morning?"
Wow . . WOW! This is the best one of the series, I think. Gorgeous color, summerfield. Getting up that early deserves a prize and then jogging beside. Gold medal, girl. :) FAV
@karenann - thank you, karenann, you are too kind to me. but i will take the gold medal :-) i should've done this tomorrow for the seventh and final entry on the challenge but the forecast calls for scattered flurries and more gray clouds. flurries, how do i photograph that now? hmmmm....
@cscecil - well, since i was there already and the boardwalk was so empty i thought i might as well have some use for it. hehe. thank you, CS.
@olivetreeann - there's a downside to this...if my boss finds out that i am capable of getting up this early, i'd be in trouble. but then as you said, it's the weekend and on weekends i can do anything! thank you, ann.
@pamfromcalgary - thank you, pam. now, i shall go take a nap. :-)
this spectacular view... great picture!!!
@sanera - so glad you like it, sam. thank you.
@pulguis - esther, it would have been a lot more wonderful if it wasn't freezing cold :-) thank you.
@daveanajao - lovely morning to you, too, dave, and thank you.
