i wonder if the challenge purposely chose this prompt for this date. it's green and it's fitting.
not a beautiful morning here in toronto, grey and cloudy, a bit of a contrast to the beautiful summer-like weather we had all week. but the sun's going to appear, so they forecast, in the afternoon and i shall head off somewhere to get a nice sunset hopefully.

this is my saint paddy brooch that someone gave to me in the early 90's. i've always worn it every year since then to celebrate st. patrick's day.
Great shot! It's so sparkly and cheery. St. Patrick himself is smilin'! We started out very foggy here, but now it's sunny and clear, so I think you'll get your sun as predicted. Have a wonderful time chasing down that sunset!

I'm dazzled by the sparkly green hues here! It's a cute brooch and reminds me of the Monopoly hat token. (I always used that token when I played.) I don't celebrate the holiday but here's wishing you a Happy St Patrick's Day! 8)

@sunnygreenwood - thank you, anne. yes it was fun, i had a ton of photos of random people on the streets wearing ridiculous green stuff on them. everyone i think had a great time, there was a big party downtown and the day and night fog/mist didn't dampen the celebrations.
