blue vase

i might have posted a photo with this vase in it in the last several months. however, i wanted to make sure that the 'formula' i came up with last night works for today's pic and for the rest of the week. formula as in camera setting, lighting in the room, and the marker on the floor for the tripod. i think partner might moved the boxes by the radiator but i will deal with him later on - maybe whip him with the wet noodle. hah! he knows better than to move my set up even by just a hair, especially if the tripod is in front of it. yes, i can tell when something's been moved!

in any case, nothing much to photograph in this home that would fit in that little nook i set up so for today this blue vase should do the work. holy cow! i've never put so much work on a photo after it's been shot!

thank you for your kind patience, your views and comments. i'm maybe crazy but i do appreciate them.
pretty vase, great colors against the white. nice shot!

i do remember this vase but it works very nicely with your 'formula' - your radiator is going to line up great. mine are really off-set! LOL!

That is a wonderful vase and it looks great against the radiator. Very nice line up! No need to use those wet noodles..lol.

Beautiful color combo. The faded white of the radiator really helps bring out the blue hue and subtle detail within the vase.

It's wonderful watching how you put this together!! Love the vase and am falling in love with that radiator!! Really :) I guess that partner better not move the items around ... there's an artist at work here.

Nice vase and lines (but my eye is drawn to the not straight part, and it kinda throws me. I know it's just me! I'm too neat!)

As everyone is saying, this series is turning out to be very artistic. I am loving it. I'd say this is my fav because I love cloisonné but then I love the others too.

@cottoncandy - mischell, thank you.

@sarasdadandmom - kinda cool, eh? thank you, terry.

@catsmeowb - don't be so hard on yourself. some didn't even attempt to do it. and you took the horizontal route which is a lot harder. so vertical it is, for me. thank you, camille.

@losthorizon - thank you, beau.

@nyusha - thank you, anna.

@karenann - thank you, karenann. he admitted he moved it and i told him i know, because the way he put the tripod back, the 'x' was not centred to the correct part of the tripod. silly old man.

@danig - and i fixed it, so now this one doesn't line up and i think it's more askew than before! hahaha! thank you, DG.

@pandorasecho - i never liked that vase too much, but it has a sentimental value so i've been lugging it everywhere i've lived. thank you, dixie.
