get pushed #3 - high key yet again but in black and white
and yes, it's the same non-working clock. it's my 5th year anniversary gift from the office many, many years ago. i should have a battery installed really.
so, to get this high key shot, i turned on all lights, including the three unused lamps stashed in my linen closet, with the sunshine before it got cloudy. then i processed it in camera to black and white.
i think i might fail this if the lovely @bugik does not approve.
Yeeaaaah, you nailed it! Congratulations! This is such a lovely high key composition, even much lovelier when viewed large. It's a beautiful clock, btw. Really a good subject for still life. A fav!
@bugik - whew! and i thought i was going to fail big time. thank you for the push. i'm not enamoured with this kind of shot, but i think if pushed, i can do it. thank you.
@espyetta - yeah i got stunned doing this. hahahaha! thank you, MB. fav, eh? such generous gesture. thank you, MB. care to join the get pushed challenge? :-)
@summerfield I love black and white. They used to be my favorite colors. and I love the shape of the clock. Just a super minimalist shot. I don't think I should try "get pushed" just now...but maybe one day. I am just too busy to be reliable
Vikki..this is stunning!
