tonight, partner had to make a special delivery northeast of the city and i thought i'd tag along. he told me to bring the tripod. on our way there, guess what we spotted at an out-of-the-way little church?
i love Christmas but isn't it too early for this? i mean it's not even november yet!
i think i've freaked out a lot of people with me sitting in the car with my camera mounted on the tripod. tee-hee! i took a lot of street lights that were out-of-focus which made for nice bokeh shots. aside from the Christmas tree, it was a ho-hum outing.
@pamfromcalgary - i saw it from a mile away, partner was desperately trying to find it and didn't see it until he almost drove past it. we passed by this church on saturday night so it must've been done either yesterday or today. i agree with you, it's lovely especially with the moon above it. thank you, pam.

If I haven't yet, then I now challenge you to also do a collage too. Select a book or magazine or comic book--or even an e-reader that has a book visible on the display--and make a collage using at least four different photo styles/white balance effects and four different perspectives of the book. If you can, use your camera settings to create the different photo styles/white balance settings, but using an editing program is okay. Have fun! I've been having fun with the challenge you set me.
Lovely capture of the tree, but definitely a bit early! I nearly got very grumpy when I had to dodge oversized crackers and stockings in the supermarket...
It's Christmas already!? XD Actually, two days ago, I spotted fully decorated Christmas trees in a mall. Great capture. I like blue lights on a tree. 8)
i was just trying to get malcolm to put our lights up because it was warm - but not to turn them on! - i thought, gee, we could do a really good job since the weather was nice instead of rushing due to freezing - or not doing it because the weather is too cold! he put a new roof on the garage instead. bah humbug. great shot, vikki.
Sears was playing Christmas music at the beginning of October. All this is waaayy too early. I read an article and they call this Holiday Creep - one holiday creeping into another - in this case Christmas creeping into Halloween. Crazy I say!
