Glowing Petals

This white Trillium [Trillium grandiflorum] is not as striking as the red one I posted earlier [ ] but I like the lighting on the petals, so decided to go with it for today.

This plant is our provincial flower (Ontario, Canada).

You should market some cards with these beautiful cropped macro shots. My mother has a patch of white triliums in southern Connecticut. The blooms are just beginning to fade to pink.
