A Peek at the Countryside

The ice and snow are gone but the leaves haven't appeared yet. This is a unique view that only lasts a few weeks. The buds are already on the trees so the leaves will be out soon, totally changing [in some cases, blocking] the view around us.

@northy thanks northy! It's the same river we live on but about 20 km up river. By the time river gets to our house it's passed through a couple of dams and is much wider and deeper. I posted a pic last summer ... http://365project.org/sunnygreenwood/365/2011-08-18
