I'm not up on duck id's - I thought these guys might be common goldeneyes but my birding buddy Lynn has id'd them as ring-necked. They were off in the distance, stretching the capabilities of my zoom.
@falcon11 These are Ring-Necked Duck...the ring on the males necks is scarcely visible most times, but the white ring on their bill is definitive. They look a little more like Scaups then Goldeneyes. Goldeneye males have a white spot on their cheek.
