Cedar Waxwings

These guys and their buddies stuck to the tree tops making it almost impossible to get a decent pic, but since this is the first time I've tried to capture them, I'm going with it for today to mark the occasion! lol

Here's a bit of info from the Cornell bird site if you're interested: "Because they eat so much fruit, Cedar Waxwings occasionally become intoxicated or even die when they run across overripe berries that have started to ferment and produce alcohol." It felt like I had too many berries too, when I was trying to find them in the view finder!

I think they are the prettiest birds - so sleek looking and love their black mask. Just see them briefly on their way through here. That's interesting information about their habits. Really nice shot of the two.
