A Day To Be Outside

It was a beautiful day. I worked outside for a few hours and got a big pile of branches burned. This pic is from the roadside, a couple of km up-river from where we live, the spot that is often our destination when we go kayaking. There were some birds there but I didn't have my camera with me, just my phone. If I had my camera with me I wouldn't have seen the birds! ;)

@sangwann Yes, you're right, I try to notice things always, but not being able to take a pic seems to increase the chances of seeing specifically a bird or other wildlife. Murphy's Law. :) We joke about leaving the cameras at home so we see more! [But of course, we usually take the cameras anyway.]
