I took close to two thousand frames during my trip to Greece, of course many are from the same subject with different settings but still I had a bit of overdose of photography. I didn´t even touch a camera today but luckily I have all these pics to use as fillers, so no worries.
This is from Greece, almost every building had a bird nest in them. This one was from our favorite restaurant. If you ever travel to Messonghi beach, Corfu, I can recommend the restaurants there, excellent food. I rarely eat red meat but if I could have steaks like that back home, I would eat it more often. We were lucky to find the best place the first night, we had very good food in other places too but this one had superb good food, we even had to make a reservations to get a table cos the reaturant was always full every night so obviously we were not the only ones who thought the food was excellent
This bird nest was empty the last time we visited that restaurant, so these little birdies had flown away.
Wow...that is an amazing capture....I love the way ALL their mouths are open and she must just work down the line! :) Sounds like you had a great evening! Nice catch!
Wonderful capture. One of the best things about travels are the new places and things to photograph. You will have a great time going through all those photos.
@sansjuan Thank you Nita, yes it´s funny how everything is new and special when away from home and at home one has to struggle to find something interesting to photograph
@eu4ria1 Thank you Ria and thank you so much for the fav too, yes the food was a big bonus
@lunaksi Thank you Lunaksi, the mother bird was so quick that I had to wait there for a while and then snap when the little birdies opened their mouths :D She only fed one at the time but they all opened their mouths when she came closer
@janim Thank you Jani, kauheeta älämölöä pitivät :D Kokki haki joka päivä lihat suoraan teurastajalta eli aikas perfect oli piffit kyllä, suorastaan suli suuhun mmm...
@amrita21 Thank you Amrita, I think they are so adorable too
@happysnap Thank you Linda, it´s great to be back. It was really fun to follow their feeding habbits
Wow -- Such a fabulous image, so well timed! I've never seen anything like this in real life. I wonder how all those little birds fit into that tiny nest? And how hard mother bird must have to work to feed so many mouths!
@susale _ I'm lucky to have seen this in your album because if I saw this in real life, I would be so totally mesmerized (I'm imagining the sounds that must have accompanied this image) and I would be standing there staring until the birds flew away. :) Or I'd wish I could.
