Thank you for all of your great comments and feedback on my latest shots, I really appreciate all of your support. I know I´ve been a bad 365er lately but I´ll try to be more active and put some discipline into my project.
I am enamored by shots like this. Shots that really don't need any words with them. Although your lyrics add emotion, the story is told before one reads the words. Great job. A pic I would be proud to have taken. FAV so I can see if I can replicate it sometime.
@janim Very much staged, I have even less patience to wait for anything to happen than you do ;-) This is not the story I shot but just something that came to mind when I looked at this pic, I always try to find songs to go withmy pics even thou I don´t always tell here what I´m thinking...Anyway I have to reshoot this, I want to have black background and maybe just a lamp post giving light....
Hey Suse! I accept your challenge and will do my best to interpret a good dramatic shot in black and white :) You have a beautiful collection of images and I can see a lot of passion through them! I'd like to challenge you to capture the rainbow through your images this week. Not necessarily an actaul rainbow, but get creative and try to create images that incorporate all (or at least most) of the colors of the rainbow (a basic rainbow, nothing to extravagant :)) what do you think?
Very creative and emotional, Suse. Very well processed as well.
Even though this one doesn't lack anything, I'm looking forward to your "redo"...sometimes we need to look back at our older stuff and apply new ideas and inspirations...
You must have had them pose . . . right? It's so perfect. Every detail, from the colors they are wearing to the angle of the walk to the directions they are facing.
@susale -- staging is a sign of creative thinking! I do think the perfect synchronization might have given it away . . . but her booties are so perfectly reflected I wouldn't want to change that at all. Maybe he could have taken what would look like a larger stride? But all in all, it really is well done, and fabulously conceptualized! I am not creative in thinking this way, so it's easier critiquing; I can't imagine myself being able to imagine it or orchestrate this at all.
@jyokota Thank you so much for your elaborate comment. Yes, true he could have taken a larger stride, yeah I think that would have been beter. I didn't have to guide her so much but him I almost had to guide in every respect. I love doing these story telling staged shots, if I had enough models to work with, that would be all I would do! I'm not completely happy with this one thou, like the story telling pics I did last month better.
@susale -- This is such an intriguing image I keep returning to it. I thought, her stride seems more confident, his more hesitating, which reflects the lyrics. But I watched the video link you have here, and your photo is TOTALLY better than the in-your-face images that are there!
@jyokota Thank you so much for your wonderful comment and compliment Junko! Yes I agree about the strides and that is why I used the first part of
the lyrics here.
