@ericdibosco Medium dry. It´s very nice and soft wine, if you like white wine and have this imported to your country I recommend to try this. It has won the Finnish wine contest twice in a row and I must say I really don´t wonder why! It´s German yes, so I know, not the first choice for great wine producers for me either! I had my reservations too but was very pleasantly surprised!
@susale I have honestly never developed a taste for dry white wines...more a red wine person...but the softness makes it appealing. I will keep my eyes open, but I think it will be hard to find in South Africa, judging from how difficult it is for me to find Italian red wines!
@ericdibosco I´m more a red wine drinker myself, I´ve only really started drinking white wine very recently. What´s your favorite wine, or would would you recommend?
@susale My preference is a light, easy drinking red...something I can enjoy while cooking, rather than at the table. My fav cultivar at this stage, is Sangiovese (from whichever winemaker!) (fruity, berry tastes) and I also love Chianti (again, whatever winemaker I can find!) which contains 80-90% sangiovese grape. Not everyone's taste, I'm sure. As far as whites go, I do like Pinot Grigio, but that's about it! I wonder what @mara19500 would recommend regarding Italian wines?
@ericdibosco Thank you Eric, I´ll check out what I can find in Finland about those, I´m always open to new acquaintances when it comes to wines...sounds like you know a lot about wines!
@mara19500 Tx Mara...I have never seen ANY of these in SA, but I will certainly look out for an opportunity to source some of them... @susale Suse, this response from Mara brings me back to: The only good wine is the one you enjoy!
@mara19500 Thank you for these links from my behalf too, I need to check out if any of these are available in Finland. We have many imported wines especially from Europe, so I think it´s possible to have these in here.
@ericdibosco Yes I totally agree, it´s also fun to find new enjoyable wines :)
Oh, you had white wine? I'm much more of a red wine drinker myself. Don't give me rioja and chocolate, it seems to be a mixture that gets me all giggly! Anyway, why did you have white if you too prefer red?
Lovely pic...soft and gentle, suiting background.
