One year ago I started my first 365 project year photographing a rose, now I end it with a shot of a rose. I didn´t quite so much learn how to photograph a rose better but I learned how to process itso it looks a bit better. I think it sums up well the whole progress made during this project. Anyway I made it! Not shooting or even posting everyday but I did complete my project in 365 days, that does count for something, right.
I have always appreciated and enjoyed beauty in nature; the sea, the mist, sunsets and sunrises etc but cos of this project I have seen much more of those beautiful things, I´ve photographed them more and I have come to appreciate the underlying beauty in things previously overlooked. There´s beauty everywhere, you just have to be open to it. I now am.
I came here to learn and I have learned a lot from all of you. I have enjoyed seeing your beautiful pics, being inspired by your creativity and getting to know you through your posts and comments. I feel blessed to have been able to share this journey with you. There has been good times and there has been bad times but always I was in good company. I now Look forward continuing to learn with you as I now start my second year, there´s still a lot to learn and I´m still here to learn it. I´m not sure can I take another year of this but I´ll continue for now.
I want to humbly thank you for all of your great comments, favs and follows on my project, you have made this journey worth the while, and without you I wouldn´t have made it this far. I remember when I started this project I was so amazed by all the fabulous pics here, in the PP and TT. I thought that wow wouldn´t it be great to get my own pic in PP or in TT even once during my project, I never even dreamed that you wonderful people would put 39 of my pics in PP and 3 of them even in TT ! I am overwhelmed by the support you have shown to my project, thank you!

I have enjoyed our talks too and you seem like an awesome person :) Kauheeta kehuskeluu, ei suomalainen tämmöstä osaa ;) Mut kyl sä tiet että arvostan sua suuresti sekä valokuvaajana että ihmisenä. Asenne ja huumori kohdallaan :) Ja ei sun missään nimessä täältä pidä pois lähtee, mutta tarkotin että laajenna vähän reviiriä tai koita jotain uutta haastetta... Mä liityin Flickkeriin kun täältä aiemmin häivyin, ja sitä kautta on loppujen lopuksi auennut vaikka mitä mahdollisuuksia. Oon kirjottanut valokuvausartikkeleita, on kutsuttu ties mihin juttuihin mukaan, oon aloittanut stock -valokuvauksen... ja ne vaan tapahtui kaikki siksi, kun postailin sinne kuvia. Aika vaivatonta ja saa viel kuvistakin backupit verkkoon :) Flickr on myös paljon isompi maailma, siellä on paljon enemmän taitavaa porukkaa ja saa ideoita ehkä sitten siitä mitä itse haluaa tehdä ja mihin haluaa pyrkiä. Mut joo jos on muuten raskaampaa nii ei sitä vältiks jaksa alkaa mitään uusia haasteita hakemaan. Toivottavasti sul on kaikki ok kumminkin.... hyvillä tyypeillä pitää aina mennä hyvin mun mielestä :)

I don´t really think about the PP or TT that much anymore, it now has become very difficult for me to get there and to be honest I don´t really mind, I have had my share of that. Merely I just wanted to record those numbers and thoughts for myself, to remember what my first year has ment to me.
