After a 4hour lecture about suicide and how to help self-destructive persons, I more than welcome this calming sight.

Most of the suicides here in Finland are done during the spring seasons, the highest numbers in April. It´s cos of the light, more specifically increasing light after months of darkness. As the light activates the nature, it also activates those self destructive persons to put their thoughts in to an action.

How strange and how extremely sad that for some the beginning of the spring marks the beginning of an end.
Beautiful scene, love the tower of rocks

Such a sobering window into this issue. I can see why you'd crave a calming spot.

Not sure which decision they would make contemplating of this scene. It's lovely but it could make some feel lonely and insignificant.

Very sad to read your words. Hopefully those feeling down and desperate find the help they need before it's too late for them. A beautiful scene you've captured here. I'm sure it's a very therapeutic place to visit 😊

@paul10 Yes indeed. There´s help available but not all are willing to accept it. This is definitely one of my favorite places, so calming and beautiful view.
