Pumpkin pie is the traditional American Thanksgiving pie. I made two others, a peanut butter and a chocolate, as those are favorites of my children, but my husband will say it's unamerican if I don't make a pumpkin :) Vera challenged me to an iconic American Thanksgiving photo. I didn't think about taking a photo of the table until after we ate.
