Super Blue Moon

It's not a great photo and the moon doesn't look any different from a normal full moon but I thought I'd give it a go. I couldn't see the moon when it was really close to the horizon when presumably it would have been a bit red.

It was too cloudy here which was a shame as I was staying close to Lake Taupo for work and maybe just maybe would have got a great shot????

This is a beautiful capture of the full moon!

My area was only in the 75 percent range for the lunar eclipse -- but with all the mountains and trees around, I wasn't able to view it on the horizon, either.

Yes, when we looked it just looked like a full moon.

That's a decent capture! The moon looked dramatic to my naked eye but I couldn't translate that into a good photo. Nicely done.
