Yesterday we bought this crab apple tree. It's quite small and doesn't have many branches yet but we're optimistic and hope that if we take good care of it it will do well. The bigger ones were really expensive.
This little tree has an important job to do which I shall explain in tomorrow's post.
We were once told these give good crops every second year. Last year we had very few crab apples whereas this year we have had maybe 600 from just one tree!
