We’re staying in a Travelodge in New Brighton. We’re here for the funeral tomorrow of a dear family friend, a wonderful lady who was almost 94 years old. We will be celebrating her life.
Most of the view from our window is of walls and a flat roof but with a bit of effort I can see the sea and these offshore wind turbines. It’s been raining all day so I was delighted to be able to photograph something this evening when the rain finally stop.
I saw a near identical shot yesterday while looking at friends holiday shots.. they went to New Brighton but it was a sunny day and they couldn't find a car park ..
I haven't been to Brighton but I've seen a similar 'farm' of offshore turbines just off Copenhagen when leaving by ship. They look rather like strange alien creatures to me.
