Look who just got here - An exhausted A&E doctor! Martha has been working long hours and most weekends for weeks and she's exhausted. She's lucky enough to get several days off for Christmas so was able to come home. She came on the train from Sussex and got here an hour ago. It's lovely to have her here.
Delightful visit for Christmas. I know what it means being an A&E Doctor. My son served a few months in A&E before he continued his career in Psychiatry. Now he is a Consultant Psychiatrist and he returns home dead-tired after each day's work.
I'm sure there are so many people who are so grateful for all the hard work. I hope you feel appreciated Martha. I'm sure you'll be well rested by the end of your stay . Have a lovely time everyone. Merry Christmas from our part of Spain.
Oh goodness, Martha will certainly appreciate having the chance to relax at home with you after her hectic few weeks. I'm sure all her "customers" have been very grateful for her dedication. Hope you've had a lovely Christmas day.
