We now have 5 camellias in the garden. This one was a gift from some friends when they came to visit in the autumn. All of them are full of buds but this is the first one to open. I love the detail in the flower. Usually I like to have plants with single flowers because it's much easier for bees and other insects to get the nectar but I made an exception when I chose this.
