My very good and very oldest friend, Lis @foxes37 has some magnificent hollyhock in her front garden. I've seen them several times when visiting her but this year, when Lis posted a picture of them on 365 https://365project.org/foxes37/365/2020-06-24 I had the idea of asking her if she would send me some seeds. This she kindly did. I planted them in a seed tray (the first lot didn't germinate but fortunately Lis had sent quite a lot of seeds and the second lot did germinate). Today I planted them out into pots. I hope that next summer these seedlings will grow and produce as spectacular a display in our garden as their parents do in Lis' garden.
