Whitney is a village a mile along the road from where I live. Here is another shot from our walk there last week. This part of the walk goes through the private grounds of a very large house. The house is privately owned but the owner lives in America and the house is now used for weddings and other functions.
@sangwann I think it may have been a different Whitney. The Whitney near where your son lived was probably near Oxford. Our Whitney is just a very small village in Herefordshire.
