It’s a really horrible day, very windy, very cold and it’s drizzling. I intended to go out for a walk and take a photo but I decided against it. Instead I took a photo from an upstairs window. The fence is the back boundary of the garden and the brambles growing above the fence are where the bullfinches come to feed, along with many other birds. The field in the distance has sheep in it although none are in view. It’s where I photographed the ram that I posted a few days ago. There’s a footpath down the far side of the field. In the distance are the Welsh hills, totally shrouded in mist.
The big tree is one of two very large oak trees. We’re lucky to have them so close because oak trees are great for wildlife. Both trees are north of the house so they never block the sun, I’d hate that.
You will have to m8nd those pesky brambles don’t come under the fence...you should see ours....I know the birds love them but we can’t wait to get rid...three years of going wild shows! Lovely you have so much greenery & nature round you. You will have squirrels running up & down those oak trees!
