The leeks went into the soup maker along with some carrots, a sweet potato, lentils and ground coriander (delicious) and with the chard I made a chard, sweet potato, tomato and peanut stew. I made it several times in the summer when the Chard and tomatoes were growing like crazy. It too is delicious. We will have it for supper with soda bread. A lovely warming mid winter meal.
The trug was a Christmas present from Chris, he thought I should have something nicer than a plastic washing up bowl for harvesting my vegetables.
