The Secret Garden

I visited some lovely gardens today, Stocktonbury Gardens near Leominster. I've been a few times before but not for a couple of years. On this visit I found a very pretty little garden which I'd never found before. It's actually called The Secret Garden and I can see why. Actually I was chatting to the gardener and he told me where it was.

I love little quiet, or hidden, garden rooms or corners like this. Of course, the 'ruins' only add to the atmosphere.Forgive me if this is a stupid question but are these arches really part of an old wall or are they a picturesque reconstruction?

@gardencat I think they’re just a picturesque reconstruction but I’ll find out for sure next time I go. There are other quirky things in the gardens which makes me think this isn’t a genuine ruin. It’s pretty though.
