These cones are huge. We picked them up last time we went to Hergest Croft Gardens (we did ask the head gardener first). The bowl was turned by a friend using the wood from a fallen ash tree in our previous garden. It's about 30 cm in diameter which gives an idea of how big the cones are. The bowl had been put away in the loft but I thought the cones would look good in it so I brought it down.
