Our Pathetic Hyacinths ......

........So disappointing. They were planted on the 23rd November 2021 https://365project.org/susiemc/album-1-year-5/2021-11-23 and I was so hopeful. Hey ho, you win some you lose some.
They do look rather short. Guess more research needed to figure out why they didn't flourish.

Ha ! not at all pathetic !! - You have just had dwarf -growing bulbs !!!!!! At least they are all the same height and have beautifully coloured blooms !

I actually quite like that they are low with not too much greenery & height. Lovely deep blue & I think they will grow into theirselves very nicely over the next week.

They maybe a little short but they are a lovely colour

But they are still a lovely splash of colour to brighten dreary winter days.

They may be short in height but they are high in colour.

They must be dud hyacinths, Sue, as you have such green fingers. But they are colourful.

Maybe not what you expected Sue but, that is a very pretty blue.. like Beryl @beryl said dwarf growing bulbs....

@beryl @happysnaps I never thought of that, perhaps they are a dwarf variety 😂😂. It’s more likely they’re duff bulbs as Lis @foxes37 said.

@foxes37 you’re probably right Lis. Hyacinths are Chris’ department but he has even greener fingers than I have when it comes to indoor plants. I’m good with cacti, orchids ( the easy, basic ones) and amaryllis. I think I’ll stick to those 😂.
