These trees are not actually in our garden, they're on the other side of the fence. They don't block the sun as they're on the north side of the house but they do allow a lot more light in once they lose their leaves. The ones that have already lost their leaves are ash, the ones with a few leaves left on are oak.
A beautiful shot of these trees with the clear blue sky as a background! I think (but don't really know) that oak trees can hold on to their leaves for quite a while. Fav
@365projectorgheatherb Yes you’re right about the oak trees Heather, the oak trees come into leaf early and lose them late. It’s the opposite with ash, they come into leaf early and are the first to lose their leaves.
