The plant itself is quite big and looks very healthy but there are only 4 other buds on the plant. When you look closely it's amazing how complex these flowers are.
oh nice capture! yes I do love these but of course they flower in winter for us yet we still call them a xmas cactus :) they are layers upon layers aren't they!
They are exquisite, aren't they? I have Grandmother's Christmas/Easter cactus (it flowers twice) It's huge about 50 years old, thrives on my poor houseplant skills and in about 4 weeks will burst into colour, the tiny buds are already appearing. Hope yours puts on a spurt soon.
