I've been wanting to photograph a red kite ever since I got my new camera in February last year. Today I managed it. I'd been to the dentist, stopped on the way home to buy eggs from a hut at the side of the road (the entrance to a farm where they have free range chickens) and this kite was putting on an impressive display. I had my camera with me of course. Well, a true 365er wouldn't go to the dentist without their camera would they!
Great action shot.....like the way you have captured the side of his face. When we used to visit Natalie at Aberystwyth Uni we always used to stop off at the Red Kite breeding centre near there....... fascinating to watch them all, especially at feeding time !!
