Two of these Canada Geese goslings were the two that were playing in the mud in the picture I posted a few days ago. Here they are with their brothers and sisters.
Nice shot. They've been doing some sort of construction around our local pond this year and last and, sadly, we no longer have the number of geese and ducks we used to. This year I have seen one pair of Canada geese with 3 goslings but no mallard duck families at all. :(
