Today I went back to check on the grey wagtail nest which had caused confusion among the dippers and the grey wagtails. Sadly there was no sign of any chicks in the nest. However, this dipper did seem to be feeding it's own chicks. I couldn't see the dipper's nest from where I was standing but it did seem to fly up to where the nest was (behind the rock). I'll try and go later in the week and check again.
