During our walk Martha and I saw several pheasants but they were incredibly nervous and really didn't want to hang around to be photographed. This was the best I could do. It's the shooting season so they have every right to be nervous. How could anyone shoot these beautiful birds for pleasure!! It makes me VERY angry. We don't need to eat pheasants (or rabbits or partridge or any other game).
