Young Nuthatch

We don't know what happened to this little nuthatch. It was just sitting on the ground. We left it for a while to see if the parents came to feed it. They didn't come and we started to get worried. Chris picked it up and it didn't try to struggle or fly off so he gave it a bit of a helping hand, gently throwing it upwards. It found it's wings and flew off and landed in a tree. We can only hope it's ok.
