I love these delicate little flowers but could never remember their name. That is until Carole @carole_sandford posted a couple of beautiful shots and reminded me of what they were. So off I went to the garden centre and got myself a couple of them! Thank you Carole for the reminder:)
No way can this be called a half and half, even with me slightly bending the rules. The only other offering I had was a rather greedy blackbird, who may well still feature tomorrow if I can't find anything else.

As you can probably tell from yesterday's posting, we never made it to the UK on 15 May.
Rhoda's sister was taken seriously ill 4 days before we were due to fly out and we had to cancel everything. 3+ weeks later and she is still in hospital although they are now talking about discharging her into some sort of nursing/assisted living facility. Not good.
We will rebook everything when things have settled down a bit more.
@terryliv Oh Poppo, I'm so sorry to hear that. Only a couple of days ago I checked back through my posts because I had it in my head you were arriving here on the 24th May. My very best wishes to you, Rhoda and the rest of the family, hopefully your sister in law will make a good recovery and you eventually get to visit the UK. Take care in the meantime x
