Alter ego - this weeks 52 portraits of me theme. In my opinion the hardest one yet.
I've been mulling this one over for days, I think of alter ego as Clark Kent's Superman, Barry Humphries Dame Edna Everage or Bruce Banners Incredible Hulk. A little less extreme meaning could be another side of your personality, not normally seen by others. Or it could even mean a trusted friend. I quickly ruled out anything involving Lycra, I know there is no chance a friend would agree to appear and I already spend enough time self analysing, never mind trying to figure if there is another side of me.
And so I came up with half cat, I am not at all elegant cat like, I'm more clumsy, excitable, eager to please, round tummy puppy like. So I guess in true alter ego style, cat woman will do.
Much better viewed on small thumbnail
Next weeks theme is Weakness, which could very well involve wine or chocolate again :))
Thank you for stopping by (sorry to have gone on and on)
@fbailey It's such a shame you did Felicity, not many of us left now.I really enjoy it but it does occupy my thoughts far to much! I'm keeping an eye on your 100 portraits, if it gets easier as you go along I might have to give it a go :)
@suzanne234 I just didn't have time for it Suzanne. Get Pushed seems to take up quite a while for me. You really would enjoy it I think, your editing skills are already impressive and you don't get asked to do anything that is way out of your capability. Am having to feel pretty brave to tackle the 100 Strangers but I think strangely even the few I've approached so far have given me more confidence. We shall see!
you're just kicking everyone's butt with your interpretation of the prompts. even my efforts from last year seemed pffft! against yours. I've looked at all your pom's and i enjoyed it immensely. looking forward to the rest of the year. aces!
@summerfield Oh my goodness Vikki, I'm taking and running with that as a huge compliment from you! Thank you so much!. I so hope this challenge returns next year
